Les Mousquetaires' stores are managed by independent operators. Each operator invests time, risk and capital in his store and is its sole manager.
He is a member of Les Mousquetaires. Each member can become a shareholder in SCM, the Société Civile des Mousquetaires, the umbrella organisation. They are then known as associate members.

All members pool the necessary resources to assist with the management and performance of all the stores. Each member also voluntarily gives up one third of his time (two days a week) to perform management functions covering the stores, the purchasing networks, development, logistics and services, at both regional and international level. This is known as the 'one third of your time' concept.
