1997 :Les Mousquetaires form two more alliances,
one in DIY with Rona in Québec and the other
in foodstuffs with Spar in Germany.
Opening of the first Intermarché stores in
Poland.
1998 :Les
Mousquetaires create the Logimarché trading
name. Stationmarché and Bricomarché
arrive in Portugal.
1999 :Opening
of the first outlet in Sarajevo (Bosnia) under the INTEREX
banner.
Creation of the Jean-Pierre and Marie-Therèse Le Roch - Les
Mousquetaires Foundation under the aegis of the Fondation
de France (a charitable organisation supporting projects and
good works by means of public donations).
2000 : Opening of the
first Bricomarché stores in Poland.
Les Mousquetaires form a non-food alliance with Hagebau
in Germany.
2001 : Creation of
the hard-discount Netto trading name.
Two new non-food alliances
are formed, with Mica Hardware in South Africa
and the UK and Ditas in Denmark.
2002 :
Creation of the Espace temps concept.
Opening of a store in Romania under the INTEREX banner.
A new food alliance formed with the Eroski
group in Spain.
2003 : Opening
of the first Vêtimarché store in Portugal.
New alliance with Mitre 10 in Australia.
2004 :Stationmarché
becomes

Opening of 2 stores in Serbia
Montenegro under the Interex banner.
2005 :Signature
of an alliance to team up with the German group, Edeka, who joins
Alidis
New alliance with the DIY store brand Bricostore, who joins Arena,
in Hungary, Romania and Croatia.
