Over almost 10 years, Les Mousquetaires and
Handicap International have been building up a genuine partnership, which is marked by two big occasions:
- The Plio kit, a universal book cover, at the start of the school year,
- The Sac à Sapin (bag for the Christmas tree base) and its little sister, the Col’rett (base cover for miniature trees), at the beginning of the Christmas period.
The shared product campaigns for 2002 and 2003 were carried out in collaboration with Zep, the creator of the cartoon character Titeuf, to celebrate 20 years of the association (10 illustrated labels in the Plio kit; exclusive offer of "new Titeuf cartoons for Handicap International" in the Sac à Sapin and the Col’rett).
For each shared product sold, 1 euro goes to funding the work of Handicap International in France and abroad. In 2002, more than 120,000 products were sold in this way by our trading names, contributing to the operations of Handicap International in Iraq after the conflict, and in Algeria after the earthquake in 2003.
New projects are in hand to strengthen this collaboration. The marketing of an artificial Christmas tree is currently being studied.
