The SNSM (French National Life Saving Society) was founded in 1967 and is devoted to saving lives on the high seas and on the coastline, so that "salt water shall never taste of tears". Les Mousquetaires have always been close to the sea and sailors as they are strongly associated with common values such as a love of freedom, solidarity and the spirit of initiative and adventure. This is why, in 2000, they formed a partnership with SNSM intended to support the work of the 6,000 volunteer lifeguards by means of shared product campaigns. For each product sold, one euro is deducted and paid to SNSM. Les Mousquetaires have thus been able to donate more than 350,000 euros to SNSM to help them buy equipment.
